Convocation

Song of the Day: Snoop Dogg feat. Justin Timberlake - Signs

So I guess it's about time I blog about it before I forget. This past Friday was convocation. I officially graduated. Close family members flew from acorss the way to witness this event. Of course, this was a momentus ocassion for my parents more than for myself. I kind of validates their hard work to put you through school. So it's rather important form that perspective. I could care less if I attended or not. It was much more entertaining than expected. Of course, no formal ceremony would exclude a long and drawn out lecture or address to the audience. Otherwise, it was rather quick and painless. I got to meet many of my classmates that I haven't seen in a while. It was good to catch up on good tiems and see where they are in the upcoming future. Mother the relatives had a good cry and many pictures were taken. Of course I felt like a dork, but what else is new. It funny that the first time I would meet and greet with my CEO would be during convocation. One would assume meeting this sort of "C" level individual in at the office and not on campus. All in all, good tiem spent with the parents. You kids who haven't convocated should seriously consider attending if not for you, then for your parents.
